We designed around the assignment
Search language, filters, property details, city guides, and housing requests center the things traveling professionals actually need to decide—not the conventions of a vacation site.
Marketplace product & UX
RoamRelax is a two-sided marketplace for people whose work keeps them moving. Click Media shaped the product strategy, experience, visual system, and technical foundation around a simple promise: help traveling professionals find a place that feels like home—and help furnished-property owners reach the right long-stay guests.

The business
Traveling nurses, doctors, remote workers, and other professionals often need more than a vacation rental and less than a conventional lease. They care about commute time to a hospital or work site, reliable monthly pricing, utilities, pet policies, parking, privacy, and a space where they can recover after demanding days.
Property owners need an equally clear path. They must be able to present a furnished home, manage details and photography, reach qualified 30-day guests, and build trust without being buried inside a generic short-term-rental experience.
The challenge
The assignment was to turn a broad marketplace idea into a calm, credible product serving two distinct audiences—travelers searching for assignment-ready housing and property owners building useful listings—while creating a technical and content foundation capable of growing into a much larger platform.
The approach
Search language, filters, property details, city guides, and housing requests center the things traveling professionals actually need to decide—not the conventions of a vacation site.
Travelers can discover homes and ask for help, while property owners receive a dedicated listing, account, photo, and property-management experience.
A warm editorial visual system, plain-language guidance, and focused next steps make a feature-rich marketplace feel approachable from the first visit.
The web-first architecture supports secure accounts, structured marketplace data, media handling, scalable city content, and future mobile, messaging, membership, and payment capabilities.
What the work made possible
RoamRelax now has a distinctive, working product foundation rather than a static marketplace concept. The experience connects housing discovery, detailed listings, traveler requests, city-based search content, secure accounts, property-owner onboarding, and listing-photo management through one coherent system.
The platform is positioned to grow in deliberate stages while already expressing a clear point of view: furnished monthly housing should work around the people doing the work.
